Working as a team takes communication. Students at Collins Elementary in Pinole, CA had the opportunity to learn team work skills. As a volunteer with Community Resources for Sciences, Eric led an activity where students built a structure from paper dowels. He strived to make sure the students were hearing everyone's voice, respecting their ideas, and collaborating together towards a final goal: build a structure you can sit in or that is the tallest.

Eric was amazed with the care and creativity that emerged from this activity that went from Pre-K through 6th grade!
